Homophobic Bullying
Homophobic bullying has been a problem for a while, but has recently gotten more violent from what I see in the media. Suicides and manslaughters are occurring from this bullying and activists have stood up and started a huge campaign to try and stop this. Honestly, there's no reason that these people should be abused for being the way they are. History has just been repeating its pattern of oppressing those who are different. Though there are some individual cases that are an exception, most oppressed people have been accepted into every other culture. In my opinion, the abuse of homosexuals is wrong, and it is only a matter of time until this abuse of a new kinda of "different" person passes. We are all different. But somehow we learn to get along with each other.

EGYPT
When most people think about Egypt, they think pyramids, camels, and Indiana Jones. Well now Egypt is going to put itself on the map for something else. Something that has never happened before. Egypt is the first country to achieve a non-violent revolution. Citizens were attacked and restrained by military forces, but none of the citizens of Egypt broke out in riots or any other sort of violence. They are currently looking at reform and are discussing how the country will operate, which makes it a military controlled country for the time being. Besides being the first successful non-violent revolution EVER, what makes this such a big deal is that Egypt has always been under the power of some sort of dictator. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing what kinda of progress Egypt makes in being an independent country.
